Ductwork Repair & Replacement in Naples, FL

Naples covers a lot of ground and the duct problems change depending on which part of it you live in. A Vanderbilt Beach condo, an East Naples ranch, and a Golden Gate Estates house on five acres do not have the same duct system and they do not have the same failure.
Coastal Naples
Close to the water through North Naples and Vanderbilt Beach, salt is the constant. It gets into attics and it works on the metal parts of a duct system, which are the collars, boots, and plenum connections. Those rust from the joint outward while the flex itself looks fine. Coastal humidity is the second half of it. Duct that has lost insulation value sweats, and sweating duct means stained ceilings, wet insulation, and a musty smell people usually blame on the duct being dirty when it is really wet.
Golden Gate Estates
The Estates is a different job entirely. Big rural lots mean big houses, and big houses mean longer duct runs and often larger systems, sometimes two or three of them. Long runs punish every mistake. Slack flex, unnecessary bends, and undersized returns all add up, and by the time air reaches the far wing there is very little of it left. I also see duct out here that was extended when a house was added onto, tapped into a trunk that was already at capacity, which quietly starved the rest of the house.

What I Do
Repair, replacement, sealing, and adding or relocating runs. On a big Estates house, adding a properly sized return or a dedicated supply is often the whole fix and costs a fraction of replacing everything. On a coastal home, if the metal connections are rusted through, patching buys you a season and not much more, and I will tell you that instead of charging you twice. When I replace duct I install R8 flex. Duct replacement in Collier County is permitted work and I pull the permit myself.
What I Don't Do
I do not do air duct cleaning. I don't own the equipment for it and I don't sub it out. Naples gets hit with duct cleaning offers harder than anywhere else I work, and I want to be straight about it. If your problem is a musty smell, the cause is almost always moisture from sweating or leaking duct, and cleaning does not stop the sweating. If your problem is weak airflow or a hot room, cleaning does not change the airflow. Fix the leak, the insulation, or the return, and the smell and the comfort both follow.

Residential diagnostic is $109, and you get a flat repair price before I start any work. The phone is answered 24 hours a day, seven days a week. $129 weekend daytime. $150 after 5pm or before 8am. $159 on holidays. I get in the attic, look at your actual duct, and give you a straight answer.
When the equipment is the real issue, I also do AC repair in Naples and full system installation. On a multi-system Estates house, replacing everything at once is rarely necessary and I will tell you which system actually needs it.
