Emergency & After-Hours AC Repair in Southwest Florida
An air conditioner that quits at nine at night in August is not an inconvenience in this part of Florida, it is a house that will be at eighty five degrees by morning with the humidity climbing. True Care Air answers the phone twenty four hours a day, seven days a week, across Fort Myers, Cape Coral, Lehigh Acres, Bonita Springs, Estero and Naples.
Call or text (239) 810-2500. Licensed CAC1824801, insured, and the person who shows up is the owner.
After Hours, Call or Text. Do Not Wait on the Booking Form.
Straight answer, because this catches people out. Online booking on this site only offers appointment times up to five in the afternoon. If it is nine at night and you try to book, the earliest slot the system will give you is tomorrow. If your AC is down right now, call or text instead. Somebody answers.
What After Hours Costs
No surprises on the driveway. The dispatch fee depends on when the appointment starts:
- Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm — $109 residential, $129 commercial
- Saturday and Sunday daytime — $129 residential, $149 commercial
- Any visit starting after 5pm or before 8am, any day — $150 residential, $200 commercial
- Holidays — $159
The $109 residential diagnostic is credited toward the repair when we do the work. You get a full repair price before anything begins.
Three Things to Check Before You Call
Not to talk you out of a service call, but because two of these you can fix yourself in five minutes and it would be a shame to pay an after-hours fee for them.
Check the breaker, both the one in the panel and the disconnect box outside by the condenser. Check whether your air filter is filthy, because a fully blocked filter can freeze a coil and shut the system down. And look for standing water near the air handler, because a clogged drain line trips a float switch that kills the system on purpose. If the drain pan is full, that is what happened.
If the outdoor unit is running but the air inside is warm, or the indoor blower runs and the outdoor unit is silent, or you can see ice on the copper lines, stop and call. Those are ours.
What We Carry
Most after-hours no-cool calls come down to a short list, and we stock for it: capacitors, contactors, float switches, fan motors and refrigerant. A capacitor failure is the single most common one and it is usually the same night fix. Some things genuinely cannot be solved at midnight, like a failed compressor or a coil that needs ordering, and in that case we will tell you honestly what it takes and get you a plan rather than leave you guessing.
If the Answer Is a New System
Occasionally the honest answer at 10pm is that the equipment is finished. We are not going to sell you a $1,900 repair on a fifteen year old system to get through the night. You can see real replacement prices and there is 0% financing available for qualified buyers, so nobody has to sleep in the heat waiting on a decision.
How To Stop Needing This Page
Almost every emergency call we run was preventable and visible months earlier. A weak capacitor tests weak long before it fails. A drain line clogs gradually. A $49 tune-up costs less than a third of one after-hours visit.
Emergency Service By City
We run after-hours calls across Fort Myers, Cape Coral, Lehigh Acres, Bonita Springs, Estero and Naples.
